Upcoming Matches

We have a few opponents to play against AFTER our End of Year exams.
I suggest we play them in the following order.
1. Team Sapphires: Ytd, Yinglun and I went to "spy" on their training session at Regent Sec. They were divided into two predominant teams and trained by their 2 coaches. Their standard is slightly below us-no disrespect though. They have a pretty weak defence, with loopholes all over. You might even be able to dribble past 2 or 3 of them at a go. Their attack is totally different. I can sense that their attack has good chemistry between themselves and their midfielders so Team-Slayers defenders, be wary. Another thing, their corners are well worked but unfortunately for them they do not really have a "target man" in the box so we should be able to destroy their aerial attacks easily. Basically this team is easy to beat but whether we can do it is another matter. Forget bout the last two official games and bring a confident and win win mood into this match and the win is ours for the taking. The main reason why i chose this team for us to play first is because they are beatable and should help raise team morale before proceeding on to more challenging fixtures.

2. Cashewnuts: Intro not needed here. Those(ChienMing, Lucas, Wei Ian) that missed the 1st leg get your buddies to do the breakdown of Cashewnuts for you. This is a 2nd leg with the word REVENGE written all over it and will be played at a PROPER field with no screwed up referee. Anyway, we will have ChienMing and Lucas back and I believe both will significantly strengthen our porous defence with great effect. Next we have Wei Ian aka Mbates... He will be back to provide the much missed laughter and runs into the opponents half which help penetrate their defence. He will most likely be played on the wings and hopefully Wei Ian will throw some tackles in as well.

3. Team Khalifah: Another beatable team similar to Team Sapphires. Basically they are 101% beatable, maybe even thrashable. How do i know? Cos i was at one of their matches with Team Sapphires and it ended in a 1-1 draw. Crappy shit so there's no reason why we can't beat 'em if we can beat Team Sapphires. Go figure.

4. Team Bumblebees: The most challenging team of all that were mentioned. This is a seriously tough game. Mystery opponents who issued us a sudden challenge. Yeah they are unknown quality and they shittiest part is that we dont even know how they play. Anyway, with wins in the 3 matches-hopefully-and a thrashing of Team Khalifah, we should be able to get our act right, together with an improved team chemistry.

Good luck for end of years everyone. Mug hard for the next month and reward yourself with endless weeks of football trainings and matches. Haha, you especially. Yes you Daryl, you better convince your Dad with superb results.

10-Jeremy(C)
